The 17th Seoul International Women’s Film Festival will be held from May 27-June 3 at Megabox, and Arthouse MOMO in Sinchon, Seoul.
The festival’s official homepage has been selling tickets for 111 movies scheduled from opening to closing day since May 13. Movies to be featured include “My Skinny Sister,” “Girlhood,” “The Second Mother” and “Accused.”
The festival also presents 1950’s Hollywood actress and director Ida Lupino’s retrospective works such as “The Hitch-Hiker” and “The Trouble with Angels” for the first time in Korea.
Meanwhile, Korean actress Kim Ah-joong has been chosen as the festival’s ambassador to host the event with movie director Byun Young-joo.
