Construction project management firm HanmiGlobal said Thursday it was named as one of the world’s top 10 non-U.S. firms in construction management (CM) and project management (PM) for the fourth consecutive year.
The company ranked eighth in Engineering News-Record's (ENR) 2024 list of the top 10 non-U.S. firms in Total Global CM and PM fees, with a combined revenue of $244.8 million last year. This represents a two-spot improvement from its 10th-place ranking the previous year.
ENR is a leading magazine in the construction industry, publishing annual rankings of top global players. Hanmi Global first appeared on the list in 2005 at No. 18 and has consistently remained within the top 10 since 2021.
Since 2000, HanmiGlobal has been engaging in more than 3,000 construction projects in more than 60 countries. The company now has units, affiliates and branches in 16 countries.
The company noted that 57.7 percent of its total revenue in the first half of this year came from overseas businesses, demonstrating its expanding presence in the global market.
HanmiGlobal said its overseas subsidiaries, such as OTAK in the U.S., K2 and Walker Sime of the U.K., are achieving solid earnings, and secured a series of major projects last year, including the development of Kuwait's South Saad Al-Abdullah City and the construction of worker accommodations for Saudi Arabia’s NEOM City project.
“Domestically, we have diversified our business portfolio by expanding into sectors such as high-tech plants, data centers, and energy infrastructure projects, including the modernization of cogeneration power plants,” a HanmiGlobal official said.
