Lotte Healthcare is entering the digital health care market with the launch of CAZZLE, the company said Thursday.
CAZZLE is a personalized health care platform that aims to provide easy health management, the health care subsidiary of Lotte Group said. The platform will begin full service on Sept. 18, providing customized health management and related products by integrating and analyzing information such as personal health checkup results with the use of AI algorithms.
"We focused on creating a health care playground that does not exist in Korea by utilizing Lotte Group's successful know-how and infrastructure for the B2C (business-to-consumer) sector," Lee Hoon-ki, CEO of Lotte Healthcare, said during a press conference in Seoul. "We expect CAZZLE to contribute to improving the health of people here and help develop the country's digital health care market."
Lotte Healthcare was established in 2022 with a 70 billion won ($52.8 million) investment from Lotte Corp., the holding company of Lotte Group. With this new company, the group plans to expand in a new direction.
CAZZLE aims to be an open platform that connects services from Lotte Group companies as well as partner companies, the company added. It aims to reach 1 million subscribers by the end of 2024 by attracting various partners.
As part of the plan, Lotte Healthcare collaborated with Atommerce, which operates the mental health management app Mindcafe, to launch a mental health counseling service within CAZZLE in November.
In March next year, it will collaborate with genomic analysis company Theragen Bio to provide a customized weight management program based on genetic characteristics, medical data and microbiome-based intestinal management.
In June, it will launch a scalp and skin care service with Becon, a scalp care service platform company, and in November, it will launch a brain health care service with Imedisync.
