In an effort to offer valuable resources for test-takers, ETS, the creator of the TOEFL iBT test, has partnered with Digital Chosun, the distributor of TOEFL Practice Online (TPO) in Korea, to upgrade the online test preparation tool.

TPO has long been the official practice tool that provides users with authentic past TOEFL test questions, scores and performance feedback. Starting from May 2, 2023, the tool has been updated to reflect the latest enhancements introduced for the TOEFL iBT test in July 2023.

Digital Chosun operates an independent platform designed specifically for users in Korea. This localized approach ensures that the resources are better aligned with the preferences and requirements of local learners.

Rohit Sharma, Senior Vice President(SVP) of Global Higher Education and Workskills at ETS, visited Digital Chosun on Sept. 19, to congratulate the launch of the improved TOEFL Practice Online platform. His visit signifies the importance of the partnership and the commitment to supporting Korean users on their journey to English proficiency.

Through Digital Chosun's platform, a total of seven volumes of TPO tests are now available for both Windows and MAC users. Users can experience what it's like to take the real test and can choose from either complete or half tests.

The enhanced TPO also includes the recently revamped TOEFL iBT test format, such as an estimated test time of under 2 hours, a more modern Writing for an Academic Discussion task, a shorter Reading Section, and simplified instructions and navigation throughout the test.

Upon completion, users can receive their scores and performance feedback within 3 minutes through the same AI scoring system used to mark the official TOEFL iBT test.

Digital Chosun also provides an option for users to take TPO at its test lab to allow examinees to familiarize themselves with the test environment, contributing to better preparedness for the actual test day.

For those looking to purchase TOEFL Practice Online, you can visit http://etest.chosun.com.
