Local food franchise firm bhc has opened an Outback Steakhouse and a Super Duper Burger at Starfield COEX Mall in southern Seoul's Gangnam to maximize the synergy between the two restaurants, the company official said Friday.
The two branches at the country's longest-running multi-shopping mall is meaningful, as they are the 94th Outback Steakhouse and the third Super Duper introduced in Korea.
"We have high expectations for the opening of two restaurants with unrivaled identities, which have maximized customer contact by entering COEX Mall. We hope the two franchises having two distinct but similar brand identities will create synergy and realize customer satisfaction by focusing on their capabilities within the group," bhc Chairman Park Hyeon-jong said at the opening ceremony for the two restaurants, Friday.
Outback Steakhouse's COEX Mall branch, which opened based on its store relocation strategy, is a design-specific store.
It is designed based on persona marketing that provides a differentiated atmosphere from other Outback Steakhouses. The size of the premium dining restaurant extends to 667.7 square meters with a total of 166 seats.
Super Duper's branch is 247 square meters in size with a total of 80 seats. The exterior design of the restaurant adopts Super Duper's signature orange color to attract consumers' attention. Modern metal and wood materials are appropriately mixed to create a luxurious and sophisticated interior design.
