Kei of K-pop girl group Lovelyz will release her first solo album on Oct. 8, the first member to do so.
K팝 걸그룹 러블리즈의 케이가 오는 8일 멤버들 중 처음으로 첫 솔로 앨범을 발매한다.
The lead vocalist of the eight-piece band is planning to take on a new musical challenge through the album "Over and Over," according to her agency Woollim Entertainment, Friday. The lead track's name is still under wraps.
8인조 걸그룹 러블리즈의 리드보컬인 케이는 솔로 앨범 'Over and Over'를 통해서 새로운 음악적 도전에 나선다고 소속사 울림엔터테인먼트는 금요일 전했다. 타이틀곡은 아직 베일에 싸여있다.
Woollim unveiled the album's teaser photo on the group's official Twitter, Friday ― a photographic patchwork featuring Kei, with a text that reads, "Kim ji yeon 1st mini album."
울림엔터테인먼트는 금요일 러블리즈 공식 트위터에 케이의 솔로앨범 티저 이미지를 공개했다. 공개된 티저에는 '김지연 미니앨범 1집'이라는 글자와 함께 케이의 포토패치워크가 보인다.
Kim Ji-yeon is Kei's real name. She will use her real name ― instead of Kei, which she has used since her debut in 2014 ― to accentuate her own "color of music."
김지연은 케이의 본명이다. 그녀만의 음악적 색깔을 강조하기 위해 2014년 데뷔 때부터 써온 케이라는 예명 대신에 본명으로 솔로 활동을 시작할 계획이다.
Kei, 24, began her singing career as a Lovelyz member with the album "Girls' Invasion." Lovelyz members are appearing on Mnet's competition show "Queendom."
케이(24)는 그룹 러블리즈의 멤버로 커리어를 시작했다. 러블리즈는 엠넷의 걸그룹 경쟁 프로그램 '퀸덤'에 출연 중이다
