Hana Bank was selected by Global Finance Magazine as the recipient of the Best Sub-Custodian Bank Award 2023 within Korea, Tuesday, according to the lender.

Marking its 21st anniversary, the award selects those that have provided the most innovative and efficient sub-custodian services among financial companies in over 80 countries around the world.

Hana Bank has been selected as the best sub-costodian lender 15 times so far by the magazine, which highly evaluated the bank’s customized service, competitiveness in terms of commission and customer-tailored system.

“Based on our expertise in sub-custodian services that has accumulated for over 30 years, as well as fame as the leading bank in foreign exchange services, we have been providing top-notch customer-tailored service. We will continue efforts to expand customer base in global market, making a leap forward as a leading sub-custodian bank in Asia,” a Hana Bank spokesperson said.

The bank has been providing sub-custodian services tailored to foreign banks, insurers and global asset management companies for foreign investments of diverse forms, including stocks, bonds and real estate-related investments.
