K-pop singer Yubin of the Wonder Girls said in a statement that she and Korean tennis star Kwon Soon-woo are dating.
According to music industry sources on Monday, Yubin has been attending tennis matches to support Kwon, her new beau, including the 2023 Davis Cup Finals which took place in February at the Seoul Olympic Park Tennis Center. An official at Yubin's agency, RRR Entertainment, said, "They have good feelings about each other and are continuing to date."
Yubin rose to stardom in 2007 as a member of girl group, Wonder Girls, releasing numerous hit tracks over the years, including "Tell Me," "So Hot" and "Nobody." She parted ways with JYP Entertainment in 2020 and founded RRR Entertainment, where she embarked on a solo career with the release of the track, "Me Time."
Kwon Soon-woo is Korea's top-ranked tennis player and the country's first to score two career victories at the ATP Tour.
