BTS' V is all set to attend the 76th Cannes Film Festival after posting a photo of his invitation to the event on social media. BLACKPINK's Jennie has also been invited to the festival, and with dating rumors surrounding the duo reaching a fever pitch, the burning question now is whether V and Jennie might travel to Cannes together as a couple.
On V's social media post dated May 22, he revealed his red-carpet invitation to the film festival that he received from Celine, a French fashion house where he is serving as a brand ambassador.
On the same day, a possible sighting of V at Nice Airport in France became a hot topic of conversation on social media and online. In a string of photos and videos posted by fans, a man presumed to be V can be seen leaving the airport with a large entourage.
Meanwhile, Jennie of BLACKPINK will also be gracing the red carpet at the 76th Cannes Film Festival. She starred in the HBO drama series "The Idol", which has been invited to the non-competition section of the event. "The Idol" is set against the backdrop of the music industry in Los Angeles, and tells the story of a troubled pop idol played by Lily-Rose Depp and her complicated relationship with a self-help guru.
V and Jennie were recently spotted in Paris enjoying each other's company after being seen together on Jeju Island last May. Neither of their respective agencies has released an official statement to confirm or deny the dating rumors.
