A string of series, starring big named stars like Song Joong-ki and Kim Rae-won as the leads, will go to air this month.
JTBC's new fantasy series "Reborn Rich," starring Song and Lee Sung-min, is finally slated to kick off on Nov. 18 after eager anticipation.
Based on the webcomics of the same name, the upcoming series revolves around a loyal employee Yoon Hyun-woo (Song) who has dedicated his life to working for a wealthy conglomerate chairman Jin Yang-chul (Lee), and the chairman's family. Despite his loyalty, he gets framed for embezzlement and is murdered. He wakes up in the body of the family's youngest son and seeks to take revenge on the family while trying to discover who is behind his death.
The series is led by director Jung Dae-yoon, who helmed hit series "W" and "She Was Pretty," and is scripted by screenwriter Kim Tae-hee, whose previous work includes "Sungkyunkwan Scandal" and "Designated Survivor: 60 Days."
Actor Son Ho-jun is returning to the small screen after two years, co-starring with Kim Rae-won in SBS' upcoming series "The First Responders."
The drama series, which is set to start on Nov. 12, will follow the story of people from a police station and a fire department working together to respond to emergencies. Kim will play the talented yet ruthless detective Jin Ho-gae, and Son will play firefighter Bong Do-jin, who has plenty of enthusiasm and love for his work.
Director Shin Kyung-soo, whose previous work includes the period series "Nokdu Flower" and "The Roots of Throne," led the series, and writer Min Ji-eun, who is known for the mystery series "Partners for Justice," scripted it.

TvN is debuting a Korean remake of France's hit comedy series "Call My Agent!" starring Lee Seo-jin and Kwak Sun-young.
The new comedy, workplace series, "Behind Every Star," scheduled to premiere on Nov. 7, will revolve around people at a major entertainment agency, Method Entertainment. Ma Tae-o (Lee) is a managing director of the agency, who has the looks, brains and skills that allow him to climb up the ladder ― starting from the lowest position in the company. But he hits a bump in the road when the agency's main star threatens to cut ties and the agency's head seeks to sell out the company.
Along with the heads of the manager team Cheon Je-in (Kwak) and Kim Joong-don (Seo Hyun-woo), and a rookie manager, So Hyun-joo (Joo Hyun-young), the five struggle to keep their jobs, while juggling their personal lives.
The series is directed by Baek Seung-ryong, whose previous work includes the comedy series "Pegasus Market" and the variety show "Saturday Night Live Korea," and is scripted by Park So-young, who wrote the drama series "I Hate Going To Work."
Netflix is rolling out the new Korean original series "Somebody," starring actor Kim Young-kwang, on Nov. 18.
The crime thriller series revolves around software developer Sum (Kang Hae-lim) who creates a social media dating app, named Somebody. The app serves a whole different purpose when a serial killer uses it to find his next victims. Amid the crime, Sum comes across a mysterious but attractive architectural designer, Yoon-o (Kim).
The series is led by filmmaker Jung Ji-woo, who helmed the crime thriller film "Heart Blackened," and is co-written by Jung and Han Ji-wan who previously scripted the comedy-crime series "The Killer's Shopping List."
