NCT 127's 'Sticker' stays on Billboard chart for 17-consecutive weeks

"Sticker," the third studio album by NCT 127 ― a sub-unit of K-pop boy group NCT ― is showing its lasting power on the Billboard main albums chart.

After debuting at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart upon its release on Sept. 17, "Sticker" was at the No. 196 spot as of Tuesday (U.S. time), staying on the list for 17-consecutive weeks.

This is the longest record for any K-pop album that was released last year, according to the group's management company, SM Entertainment. Fronted by the hip-hop-flavored lead single of the same name, "Sticker" carries 10 tracks of different vibes including "Lemonade" and "Bring the Noize." SM previously revealed that it sold more than 2 million copies.

NCT's third full-length album "Universe" also succeeded in securing a spot on the same chart by coming in at 133rd place. The album, which came out Dec. 14, topped Billboard's World Albums chart, too. "Universe" is led by the namesake lead track, a hip-hop-based R&B tune with an addictive refrain.

NCT is a 23-member act consisting of different sub-units, including NCT 127, NCT DREAM and WayV.
