As a woman's ovaries ages, ovulation and the production of female hormones no longer take place. The resultant phenomenon is menopause. Natural menopause begins around one's mid to late 40s, and then progresses gradually.

The hormonal changes associated with menopause cause physical and mental symptoms. The symptoms experienced during and following the menopausal transition vary from person to person. Symptoms associated with menopause include hot flushes, fever, perspiration, anxiety, depression and memory loss. There could be a sleep disorder when symptoms occur at night. After several months, some menopausal women can develop vaginal dryness or vaginal atrophy.

In the past, hormone therapies were mainly used for women bothered by menopausal symptoms. These therapies usually relieve menopausal symptoms, prevent atrophy in the urogenital system and stop fractures arising from osteoporosis. But women suffering from breast or endometrial cancer and those sensitive to hormones need to be careful because estrogen injected into the body can combine with the bodily estrogen receptor, resulting in the recurrence of preexisting conditions and causing such endocrine disorders as infertility and hyperthyroidism.

On the contrary, EstroG-100 ― a mixture of standardized extracts of Cynanchum wilfordii, Phlomis umbrosa and Angelica gigas ― is known to be the world's only health-functional ingredient that doesn't combine with the estrogen receptor. EstroG-100 also has been confirmed as a safe ingredient that improves various symptoms and can be taken for a long time without concern through the Kupperman Index, which is widely used to diagnose menopausal diseases.

According to Naturalendo Tech, a company specializing in bio-sciences, herbs and endocrinology, EstroG-100 has won individual functionality approvals for menopausal symptoms from Korea's Ministry of Food and Drug Safety. The ingredient also obtained approvals from the New Delivery Dietary Ingredient (NDI) of the United States, Canada's NPN (Natural Health Product Number) and the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) in relation to novel foods. That's why EstroG-100 is often called the world's only health-functional ingredient that hit a grand slam when it comes to relieving menopausal symptoms.
