중동의 분쟁 지역에서 쓰이고 있는 테크니컬 트럭 중 국산 자동차가 쓰여서 화제가 되고 있다.


지난 19일 유용원의 군사 세계의 보도에 따르면, 중동 분쟁 지역에서 국산차들이 게릴라 전술의 상징으로 불리우는 "테크니컬 트럭"에 종종 이용되고 있다고 한다.

해당 언론은 테크니컬 트럭은 무장병력을 수송하고 기관총이 장착된 민수용 차량이며, 최근 수니파 무장세력 다에시뿐만 아니라 헤즈볼라, 탈레반, 시리아군 등 많은 중동의 무장세력들이 기아 모터스와 같은 국산 자동차 회사의 트럭을 테크니컬 트럭으로 사용하고 있다고 전했다.

국산 트럭은 짐칸이 넓고 과적에도 끄떡없어 중동에서 인기가 많다고 한다.
