Lee's notable accomplishments at LG Electronics include growth of the rental care business center for the rental, maintenance and management of home appliances, which was newly established at the time of his appointment as head there. He successfully expand the company's rental business with active marketing campaigns.
Lee plans to focus on enhancing LocknLock's growth and competitiveness in the domestic market after taking former CEO Kim Sung-hoon's position soon. Kim served two consecutive terms as CEO of LocknLock since joining the company 2017. He laid the foundation for the long-term development of the food container maker.
"I would like to thank former CEO Kim for his hard work in establishing LocknLock as a 'real company' with a system. I will take over his role now and strive to make a second leap forward to build LocknLock as a leading company in the global household goods market," Lee said.
Kim will step down from his CEO position at LocknLock, but he will continue to work for the company as an adviser.
