After Paraguay beat out Japan in a penalty shootout in the round of 16, Larissa Riquelme pledged to get naked and run through the Asuncion streets if the national team takes home the title.
"Of course I will ... but with my body painted in the colors of Paraguay," she was quoted as saying by local media outlets.
The 24-year-old curvy model has already built her own fame, arguably bigger than the Paraguayan campaign at the World Cup, through her photos of cheering her side with a cell phone set in her breast cleavage.
To Paraguay's disappointment, the country is to take on European champion Spain in Saturday's quarterfinal match. Even if it ousts the powerhouse, the squad would play either Germany or Argentina next week in the semifinals.
Even a number of Argentinean fans might stand by Riquelme in opposition to their own national team coach Diego Maradona.
Last month, the infamous football legend made the same sort of vow while being interviewed on a radio show, saying he would run around the Obelisk, a famous landmark in Buenos Aires, in his birthday suit.

란제리 모델이자 ‘파라과이 응원녀’ 로 알려진 라리사 리켈메가 이번 2010년 남아공 월드컵에서 파라과이가 우승하면 모두 벗고 뛰어다니는 세레머니를 하겠다고 밝혔다.
더 선 지에 따르면 “그녀가 온몸을 파라과이 국기색으로 페인트 한뒤” 라는 조건이 붙었다고 한다.
리켈메는 축구 광팬이고 이미 파라과이 국가대표팀의 공식적인 치어리더이다.
그녀는 파라과이 수도 아순시온에서 핸드폰을 가슴사이에 넣고 응원하는 모습에 뜨거운 인기를 얻었었다.
리켈메는 또 “내 가슴에 있던 핸드폰을 우승트로피로 대처하고 싶다” 고 말하기도 했다.
