Former LPGA Tour golfer Park Ji-eun, 33, also known as Grace Park, announced plans to marry, Monday.

Park said that she will tie the knot with fiancé Kim Hak-soo, a businessman and friend from elementary school on Nov. 27.

She won six LPGA events, including one major, the 2004 Kraft Nabisco Championship after her Tour debut in 2000. However, she suffered from hip, back and neck injuries resulting in an early retirement from golf in June 2012.

“It feels like I left something behind by quitting golf as I could not continue to win titles due to bad injuries but I want to construct future plans for after my marriage,” she said.

“I thank my fans for still supporting me through Facebook and I would be grateful to everyone for paying consistent attention to Korean women’s golf.”
