Ken Lee joins Riverside Korea

Ken Lee has joined The Riverside Company, a global private equity firm, as a new lead partner in its Seoul office.

He joins Riverside after more than 20 years in a variety of senior financial service positions in Korea, including as a managing partner and head of advisory at KPMG Korea.

Lee's extensive experience includes a wide range of advisory roles, including corporate finance, restructuring, and transaction services. His previous roles include Vice Chairman at Mirae Asset Group, Deputy CEO at Shinhan Investment Corporation, and Research Head at Salomon Smith-Barney and ING Baring Securities. He began his career as a marine engineer. He earned his BS in Naval Engineering from Seoul National University, and his MBA from the University of Washington.

Riverside focuses on acquiring growing businesses valued at up to $200 million. Since its founding in 1988, it has invested in more than 275 transactions. The firm's international portfolio includes more than 75 companies, with $3.2 billion in assets under its management.
