Song Joong-ki completes Asian fan meeting tour

Korean actor Song Joong-ki has successfully concluded his 2016 Asia Fan Meeting Tour with a final event in Shanghai on July 16.

He was greeted by nearly 8,000 Chinese fans at the event, according to his management agency Blossom Entertainment. K-pop singer Kim Jong-kook also appeared.

Song started the tour in April, hosting fan meetings in ten cities, including Bangkok, Beijing, Hong Kong, Taipei and Shanghai.

“I have met a variety of people in many cities for three months, and it now feels like having to leave a close friend of mine,” he said during the final meeting. “I have changed a lot during the last three months, all thanks to my fans. I have also gained great confidence. I will not forget the moments we have spent together. I love you.”
