Dietrich Wegner said he made these works to emphasize the use of ads for making good image of firms.
“The purpose of the works is to think about how our identities evolve and how we are subordinate to ads,” he added.
On his website, “I like to create images that are 'safe and unsettling, abject and beautiful,’” he said. “My works are contradicted experience which gives curiosity and unstable mind to us.”
The tattoos are added to picture of babies using editing software, not inscribed in their bodies.
