Ninety-two test applicants were found violating the rules during the College Scholatic Ability Test, Thursday. The Ministry of Education, Technology and Science said 92 students were reported as cheating during the state-run college entrance test.
Among them, 45 students were caught possessing prohibited items such as cell phones, MP3 players or portable multimedia players (PMP). Some 40 students violated the way of applying for the fourth session, while six kept answering after the test hour had expired and one read the questionnaire before the starting bell.
If caught cheating, the test result is invalidated and they cannot apply for next year's test if the case is critical. Last year, 115 students were found cheating during the CSAT.
