A bride was found dead in an apparent suicide at a hotel on Jeju Island during a honeymoon trip, police said.
The husband, 35, found his wife, 36, hanging by the neck in the bathroom of a hotel in Seogwipo City at 5 a.m. on Tuesday and notified police.
They, married on March 29, were on a honeymoon trip to the island.
``My wife was hanging dead after I came back from a brief walk outside,'' police quoted him as saying.
Officers also said he claimed she had shown signs of depression. But the police are having difficulty investigating because the husband, traumatized by his wife's death, has been hospitalized.
