Spiritual leader's autobiography published in 34 languages

First part of Lee Jae-rock's autobiography "My Life, My Faith (1)" is published in 34 languages.

"My Life, My Faith (1)," the first of a two-part autobiography by international spiritual leader Dr. Jaerock Lee, has been published in 34 languages, including English, Spanish and Portuguese.

Initially, the book was published in Korean in 2006, and it has since been translated into other languages: Asian languages, including Indonesian, Japanese, Tagalog and Vietnamese; and European languages, including Albanian, Armenian, Bulgarian, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Estonian, Finnish, French, Georgian, German, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Lithuanian, Macedonian, Norwegian, Polish, Romanian, Russian, Serbian, Slovak, Swedish, Turkish and Ukrainian.

Following his life from his time of medical difficulties ― seven years of incurable diseases, according to Lee ― he became a born-again Christian after visiting a church in 1974. From there, the story details the founding of the Manmin Central Church in 1982, and its expansion to include more than 120,000 believers.

In 2009 and 2010, the Christian Telegraph named him one of the top 10 most influential Christian leaders, and his reach continues to spread. His story captures the ups and downs of the church, an intriguing tale of one man versus the world.

The book has been a bestseller in the religion section of the Kyobo Book Center, one of Korea's largest book store chains. The book has been picked up by publishers around the world, including Naos in Brazil and Baruch in Ukraine. A Vietnam publisher of religious books has published the book in Vietnam, with official government permission.

The book has been read by such people as the President of Honduras, the Penang Chief Minister in Malaysia, the Minister of Human Resource Development of India, and the Minister of Culture, Community and Youth in Singapore, and the president and CEO of the National Religious Broadcasters in the United States.

The paperback is available through Amazon.com and Barnes & Noble, and the e-book through Kindle, iBooks and Google Play.
