KAIST EMBA boasts outstanding alumni
Current post: CJ Group executive vice president and human resources management team leader KAIST EMBA: 2004-2006 Cho joined CJ group in 1988. He became vice president of the group in 2011 and has been in charge of human resources. Cho joined KAIST EMBA from 2004 to 2006. He pointed out that his academic experience at the school gave him a keen insight to deal with various tasks related to not only human resource management but also business strategies. Ko Jae-hoCurrent post: Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering CEO KAIST EMBA: 2005-2007 Career Ko has been CEO at DSME since March 2012. Before then, he was the head of business division as a senior executive vice president. Ko got aboard the offshore business division at DSME in 1980 and has served 32 years at the world’s top-tier shipbuilder. He studied law at Korea University and got a the EMBA at KAIST in 2007. Ko was named the 13th chairman of Korea Shipbuilder’s Association (KOSHIPA) in April. He will lead the association until March 18, 2013. Lee So-raCurrent post: Novo Nordisk Pharma Korea medical director KAIST EMBA: 2006-2008 Lee is one of the most passionate alumni of KAIST EMBA. She has been taking summer and winter sessions through a lifelong education system of the school in her spare time. Lee started her career in the medical field, which is an unusual career path compared to those with MBA degrees. She got a Ph.D. of internal medicine at the Korea University Medical College in 2004 while she was working as a medical advisor at Glaxo Smith Kline Korea from 2003 to 2005. She has been in the position of medical director at Novo Nordisk Pharma Korea, a Denmark-based pharmaceutical company, from 2005. |
