KB Life Insurance provides corporate social responsibility programs to isolated neighbors and children from low-income families through its in-house foundation titled “KB Star Dream Team.”

The foundation provides continuous and practical programs in cooperation with local welfare centers and non-government organizations.

The insurance arm of KB Financial Group practices a wide range of activities, such as providing lunches to senior citizen community centers and planting trees on mountains. It also delivers briquettes to low-income families who cannot afford to pay for gas for heating during winter.

Employees of the company also are involved in a talent sharing program with its affiliates offering financial classes to the underprivileged letting them have opportunities to learn financial knowledge and asset management skills.

The company set apart May as “CSR Month” to implement sharing as its office culture.
“We will spare no efforts to donate part of our profits to society and practice love with neighbors and protect the environment,” said the company in a statement.

The company established a task force team which takes initiatives in various programs such as voluntary activities and eco-friendly programs.
