Two minor 3.1 and 2.0 magnitude earthquakes rattled the southeastern city of Pohang on Saturday. There were no reports of damage or casualties.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA), the quakes took place at 11:31 a.m. and 5:16 p.m. about eight kilometers north of the city.
Both earthquakes were felt by the residents in Pohang.
Some residents called the local fire department and the KMA to confirm if the tremble was an earthquake.
