Chinese police have arrested a woman who posted more than 100 videos of herself vandalizing products in a Lotte Mart in retaliation against U.S. deployment of a missile defense system in South Korea on Tuesday, according to the Global Times, a Chinese news outlet.
The woman had previously become the center of criticism after posting videos of herself crushing instant noodle cups, stealing snacks, giving her middle finger in an obscene gesture at the main gate and drinking beverages before putting the containers back on the shelf.
"We issued a warning about the woman's wrong behavior," said Kuaishou on their official Weibo page. "We have submitted all the videos and related evidence to the police."
Police had also issued a statement criticizing the woman.
"Loving our country has to be done rationally," police said on Weibo. "The woman's acts cannot be written off as thickheaded but rather a vicious act that tarnishes patriotism."
