A man stopped his car in the middle of a heated argument with his wife on a busy highway on Sunday, causing his wife to be killed when a bus crashed into their vehicle.
The husband told police that he stopped the vehicle in a bus-only lane of the highway near Cheongju, North Chungcheong Province.
The man survived by escaping the car before the crash.
Video footage from the crash site showed the rear end of the car completely destroyed and the bus with a shattered front window and missing bumper. Three bus passengers were sent to a nearby hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
