Two men have caught a mother and daughter who jumped from their sixth-floor home, saving their lives.
According to Gwangju District Police, a woman, 36, held her daughter, 8, and jumped about 11:45 p.m. Tuesday after screaming "Help us" for more than 10 minutes.
The men, one surnamed Hong, 57, and the other surnamed Kim, 26, caught them.
Hong and Kim are in hospital being treated for back and shoulder injuries. The mother and daughter are also reported to have no life-threatening injuries.
Police said the woman had fought with her mother, 68, before attempting suicide, and that Kim and Hong had put their lives in danger without hesitating after hearing the woman's cries.
