A passenger aircraft pilot ― who had been on unpaid pandemic leave ― was found dead at his home in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, police said Thursday.
His wife found him lying on the bathroom floor bleeding at 5:55 p.m. Wednesday, investigators said. There was nothing that could be considered a will at the scene, they said. They also found no sign of foul play.
An autopsy will be done to determine the exact cause of his death.
According to reports, he had complained to his family and friends about investment losses and slow promotion at work.
