BTS became the first South Korean artist to land at No. 1 on Billboard Hot 100 songs chart in the United States on Monday.
방탄소년단이 월요일 미국 빌보드 핫 100 차트 1위에 오른 첫 한국인 가수가 됐다.
Record-shattering is nothing new to K-pop sensation BTS, but debuting at No. 1 on Billboard's main singles chart was a dream come true for the band. On Tuesday, the septet's uplifting disco-pop track "Dynamite" conquered the Billboard Hot 100 chart, making BTS the first Korean act to reach the milestone.

Previously, the highest-charting South Korean artist ever on the Hot 100 was soloist PSY with his globally viral hit "Gangnam Style," which peaked at the No. 2 spot in 2012.
이전까지 빌보드 핫 100에서 가장 높은 순위에 오른 한국 가수는 전세계적으로 인터넷 상에서 유행한 히트곡 '강남스타일'로 2012년 2위까지 오른 솔로 가수 싸이였다.
The only Asian to make it to the top of the Hot 100 in the past was Japanese singer Kyu Sakamoto with "Sukiyaki" in 1963.
과거 빌보드 핫 100 정상에 오른 유일한 아시아인은 1963년 '스키야키'를 부른 일본인 가수 사카모토 큐였다.
