A minor 2.9-magnitude earthquake rattled Jeju Island early Sunday. There were no reports of damage or casualties.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA), the quake took place at 3:01 a.m. about 29 kilometers southeast of the resort island's Seogwipo City. It was the fourth quake in Jeju this year, following a 2.0-magnitude earthquake 22 kilometers west of Seogwipo on Feb. 18.
